Very Large Framed Print of the Famous Battle of Gettysburg Pa. July 3rd 1863 very rare this size theirs only two it measures Framed 55 1/2 inches in Height and 78 1/2 inches width. This is very rare and the detail of this print is unbelievable and in great shape it also has a tag that tells the whole story.

Identified Framed 6th Georgia Cavalry ANV Army of Northern Virginia Confederate Battle flag - Captured at Lay`s Ferry outside of Atlanta Georgia, There`s very rare documents that come with this Confederate ANV Battle flag.The Flag measures approximately 48" x 48 and is made in three sections. It was captured by Pvt. Asahel M. Pyburn 66th Indiana infantry & was taken home by Colonel Thomas Gutherie Morrison from New Albany Indiana.

 Identified Confederate 5th Alabama Cavalry Flag
      From the estate of Colonel Josiah Patterson
         Authorization letter from Textile Expert

Historical Battle Flag 
              Confederate Battle Flag { SOLD }

Identified Confederate 5th Alabama Cavalry Flag  Framed from the estate of Confederate Cavalry Colonel  Josiah Patterson -  Terminology used is taken from Howard Madaus and Needham 1976, And this Confederate Flag was examined by Textile Preservation Associates, Inc. Fonda Thomsen 1/7/1998 it measures Hoist 35 1/4 inches & on the fly 35 1/2 This flag is constructed completely of cotton in the pattern of a Confederate battle flag. The fly has a red cotton field with a 4" blue cotton cross, containing thirteen white cotton twill stars, appliqued to the obverse side. The reverse has no decoration but the sewing threads from the obverse are visible.

The Documents that come with this very rare home made Confederate Battlefield flag tells the story that this flag came home from the Civil War with a Virginia soldier and it was in this very old white church for many years from 1866 - 1895 and than when they was building a newer church it was than taken out and it stayed with the family of the Earle from Elkins West Virginia area and at one time it was Virginia. It was examined  by Conservation textiles Virginia J. Whelan from Philadelphia Pennsylvania it measures 47 inches on the Hoist & 46 1/2 inches on the Fly
